Megas XLR Megasippers at Jollibee

Once again, Jollibee has release now merchandise for Megas, This time motion-cups.

Fast food chain Jollibee reveals its 2008 Megas XLR exclusive tie-ins - 3D "Megasipper" motion-cups.

Three different cups featuring the iconic robots of Megas will be available: Gorrath's Mech, Kiva's Drone, and of course, Megas. Look for them to hit this month.

Saddly i think they are exclusive for Philippines yet i know there's a Jollibee here in the US, So if you are near a Jollibee go there and buy thos cups, Becuase they rock.

Just to remind you that the cups will be there until March 8, So go to you near Jollibee and get them.

Actually Jollibee had released some figures of Megas, Kiva's Drone and Gorrath's Mech last year. Also CN had on his site the Megas XLR figure(which i was lucky to get it since they have sold out) and finally DC direct had release the statue of Megas. Those are the only figures they have release from Megas.

I do hope they make official action figures of the show.

hell just some DVD's would be nice..i had to pirate it >_> i can say with 1000% certainty though that if a box set was released, i would buy it and delete the pirated version off of my harddrive.

Its sad really: they're still promoting Megas in the Phillipines yet here its deader than a doornail. Who in CN ruined it?

I know what you mean. Probably some moron or two suggested that they won't give Megas another season.

If i where they, I would probably give Megas more promo in the Network since Megas didn't had much Promo like other shows. And maybe i would've put Megas in Adult Swim instead.

I never would have made Megas an AS show. Its not serious enough to be Adult Swim...being its mostly a silly satire. Besides, if it was on AS, it probably would be some lame knockoff of crap like Family Guy anyway instead of its own show.

The problem is obvious: CN didn't care, they weren't getting the right audience so they dumped it. Its like Nick's situation with Invader ZIM, but at least they had enough to make it more a cult/Hot-Topic show than Megas will sadly ever be.

Actually it does fit well for AS. Since Megas was doing parodies of 80's and other stuff that most people in their 20's or late 20's have seen. You can't expect kids to recognize the ref Megas had like Mazinger, TF. Maybe some but to the most part they won't.

Probably but its still more juvinille than a lot of the crap AS has anyway. If this was 2001 and this was still the AS with brilliant stuff like Home Movies and Futurama, I'd say you are absolutely correct...sadly, we're in a different world now.
