Hey folks,

Well, it seems that I'm in the hall of fame of getting a drawing of mine deleted by DA but what's really weird on this one is that they deleted my Yoko Ritona Star Suit.

Oh and it gets better because DA says she's underage..........ok what? Do they actually watch the anime? I mean sure, Yoko does look young when we first saw her but i think she's in her 20's that time but what's odd from all of this is that the outfit does belongs to her, i only didn't add the tight pants on her but the rest does belong her.

So what do you think folks, DA's getting so ridiculous on their rules? They had a reason on deleting the stuff from

but this is just too much.

I'm sorry about that, dude but I think a note to the gallery moderator might give you your answer. what category was it placed it. I had a few of my deviations deleted back when I started DA cause they were in the wrong category.

It's not about the category but being depicted nude or erotic fashion, that's what DA note me:

A member of staff has reviewed a report concerning this deviation and has determined that the characters depicted in a nude or erotic fashion are established as being underage.

Official policy, as outlined in the FAQ, does not allow fictional characters who are underage to be depicted in this manner so this deviation has been removed.

Good to see I'm not the only one who's had a Yoko pic deleted -_- Not that yours being deleted is actually a good thing.

Don't forget, right at the beginning of the series she's the "old version" (most of the series is a flashback).

Indeed, they are exaggerating their own rules just because they believe it's inappropriate.

Looks like DA is now targeting Yoko which it's really an idiotic move from their part since the character is everywhere and was depicted in many erotic outfits.

The weird thing is that i have drawn her in her older version with her star suit, the only thing i didn't add was the pants but the rest was all hers.

"Characters which have been portrayed as a range of ages in their original media will be classified as underage or not based upon the youngest portrayal as well as their average age over the series." - I agree with you, I don't think they have seen the series.

According to this, any series which features a flashback of a chracter to their childhood, automatically means there's not allowed to be any "erotic" fanart of them... (shame I can't think of any at the moment)

HAHAHA, Actually just thinking, that means Nel from Bleach isn't allowed either... wait... she is old in it, just looks like a kid... good lord, this is getting confusing..

That's what i think too, i mean how can DA apply the same with anime if they do this kinda stuff? I mean seriously it can apply on cartoons like Ben 10, Teen Titans but animes like Bleach, One Piece and Gurren really makes it confused on how we can draw them.
